Koszalin.Pologne. 22 Aout 2009

Votre serviteur!

August 22
Yesterday late in the morning I crossed the Polish border (well, there are no borders now with Europe. I prefer the old times because of the stamps on the passport) just before Szczecin.
Wanting to see the Baltic sea I drove up to Miedzivojzie. I skirted the coast to Rawa. Just horrible as there were too many people. I thought I was at the Grau du Roi in August (I never went there, at least in the summer!) No way I would have looked for a hotel or a hut in a camping... so I drove back deeper in Poland and this is how I landed a Koszalin where the unexpected forces me to stay here until Monday or Tuesday.
I'm at the hotel Trawa at the entrance of the city on the road to Gdansk. Considering the chic hotel I asked the price, then if they had wifi.
160 Zlotys per night with breakfast. (39 euros). Hotel with swimming pool and tennis.

And that's how I am still at Koszalin!
Tomorrow I shall venture to the Baltic coast again but I fear the worst because it is Sunday ... I hope all the Poles will be in the churches praying for their dead pope Karol Wojtyla!
